John Eng

John Eng is a producer, writer, director, and photographer living in Los Angeles. In 1981, he found Icon R & D Inc, a special effect production company that produced commercials, industrials and promos.

In the mid 1980s, John left animation in order to produce, art direct and shoot several live-action, independent feature films.

In the 1990s, John returned to animation where he directed
animated television shows such as DUCKMAN and JONNY QUEST. John won the ANNIE AWARD for best Director of an animated TV series for DRAGON RIDERS OF BERK in 2012.

In the last fifteen years, John had focused on writing and have written feature screenplays in the sci-fi, horror, fantasy genre .

Most recently, he spent almost three years in Nanjing, China. First heading a newly formed story department at Original Force and then directing the first season of the popular on-line series THE IMMORTAL for Bili Bili.
