Shailesh Prajapati

Shailesh is working in the film, television, and performing arts industries for more than 35 years, covering a broad range of roles within film, tv and theatre productions, media project management, and education.

He migrated to NZ in mid-2003 and studied PG diploma in film and television from the University of Auckland to develop an awareness of the NZ film and television industry. Since then, he has worked for US television production - "Power Ranger" including NZ's leading film & television production companies like “Great Southern Television Ltd.” "South Pacific Pictures Ltd", "Screentime Ltd", "Filthy Rich Productions Ltd", "Greenstone TV", "Kura Productions" etc.

He recently produced a short film “Well of Desire” for The University of Auckland (Writer/Director Dr Shuchi Kothari) in January 2023, and a feature film project "SAHEB” in India as a director, which was released in cinema successfully 2019. (Can stream on the Prime)
