About Tyler
Tyler is a 33-year-old screenwriter based in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a queer military brat, he was raised traversing the United States, getting unique and diverse perspectives on this complicated country we call home. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 with a degree in theology, later becoming a music and film journalist for Denver's largest independent magazine.
Over the past several years, Tyler has sat on screening committees for both AFI Docs and Denver Film Festival, worked for Sundance Film Festival in multiple capacities and curated music video programs for Denver Film Festival.
