About Thaleia
In my early 70s, a retired architect/interior designer, my lifelong dream has been to be a filmmaker. As a Senior Citizen, I've taken courses at Hunter College in screenwriting, directing, film history etc and made several short films as well as written multiple screenplays.
A firm believer in the power of collaboration, one of my main goals at this time is to find a screenwriting partner who is also into social media, which i am not—though I recognize its importance in today's world.
My current plan is to take a script I wrote about the lasting effects of sexual abuse—which killed my sister before she turned 65—and do major rewrites hopefully with lots of input from someone else with whom I resonate. In search of someone good at dialogue, whose writing I admire, I would be happy to reciprocate as needed on their scripts. Afterwards, I want to direct or co-direct the film.
