About Hallie

Hallie Shepherd is a writer, actress, producer, and editor, and she co-owns Fireshoe Productions with Eric Colley. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Washington University where she ran track and cross-country.

Hallie produced Oscar Winner Cuba Gooding Jr.’s directorial debut Bayou Caviar, starring Gooding Jr., Famke Janssen, Katharine McPhee, and Oscar Winner Richard Dreyfuss. The film was released theatrically and is now available on Hulu. Hallie also wrote, produced, co-edited, and starred in the thriller Last Seen in Idaho, which premiered on Showtime. Prior to that, she produced, co-wrote, and co-edited the World War II drama The Last Rescue, in which she also played one of the main characters in the ensemble cast. The film premiered on Redbox. Most recently, she wrote, produced, co-edited, and played the lead actress in the comedy Bigfoot Killed My Wife. The film is coming soon!

Hallie can also be seen in many acting roles for other production companies, including a role opposite Kellan Lutz in the action-thriller Due Justice, one of the lead roles in Hellbilly Hollow (horror), and supporting roles in Losing Addison (crime drama) and Culver City Film Festival Audience Award winner Get Naked! (comedy).

Hallie spent several years as a filmmaking and screenwriting mentor at Los Angeles’s Film Connection Program, and she was also a guest instructor in screenwriting at Tacoma School of the Arts. She was also previously a Scriptapalooza mentor for their fellowship program, and she served on the Advisory Board of Shoreline Community College’s Performance Arts/Filmmaking program.
