About Anthony

Anthony Robustelli is a musician/composer/producer and the owner of Shady Bear Productions in Brooklyn, NY. He has seven prior albums to his credit including “The Steely Dan Sessions: Interpretations of Unrealized Classics.” The music from his six-movement jazz suite, “Travels of A Lost Soul,” was featured in the film “Get Faamous” along with songs from jazz great Gary Bartz. He also co-wrote the score for the critically acclaimed independent film “Hitman’s Handbook,” the award-winning PBS documentary “Off the Curb,” penned the theme song for the documentary “Naked Brand,” and played keyboards on the Spearhead LP “Yell Fire.” Shady Bear Productions also counts a number of high-profile commercial clients on its roster including H & M, Head & Shoulders, 1-800 Flowers, & Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Known for his “non-jingle jingle” Robustelli continues to be in demand for those clients seeking a more edgy tone and feel. He is the author of I Want to Tell You: The Definitive Guide to the Music of The Beatles 1962-63 and The Steely Dan FAQ: All That's Left To Know About This Elusive Band and is the host and creator of the popular “Beatles Multi-Track Meltdown” podcast. His most recent project is the five-part 3D animated political musical, “The So-Called President.” Anthony has a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance and a Master’s in Music Education from New York University.
