Born in Cyprus, Angelina Der Arakelian is a published author and award-winning screenwriter of scripts such as A Week in Berlin and The Role. She loves expanding on any story idea that knocks on her door, but she specializes in sci-fi, mystery, historical fiction and psychological thrillers that make the audience reflect on life and society.
Her writing career is based on believing in the magical power of words. More specifically, she sees potential in film as a medium that can make viewers imagine a world that is very far from, yet comprises similar traits to the one we live in. By doing this, she hopes to challenge the reality we’re presented with and allow us to dig the purpose behind some of the world's most prevalent events a bit deeper.
Unique traits: Turning art into life and life into art.
