Christopher James Thomas is an Emmy Award-winning composer. He has composed and produced music for a wide variety of venues from internationally released IMAX films, to award-winning independent feature films and documentaries, to high-profile national commercials. Christopher has a unique ability to combine world, classical and electronic music to bring an eclectic, unpredictable, and rich sound-palette to his craft.
Having graduated from the University of Miami in Studio Music & Jazz with a BA in drums, percussion and keyboard, he is versatile in the studio as a drummer and keyboardist/synthesist and has an extraordinary ability to deliver a multitude of modern and classical styles. Christopher is equally versed on percussion, guitar and bass as well as being a trained vocalist.
Whether he’s creating string arrangements and performing tracks for albums or composing film scores, his well-seasoned, diverse musicianship will enhance and take your production to the next level.
