Hi….I am Caroline 67 years young..Mother of three boys and Grandma (affectionately known as Nanny Spain) to six..Most of my working life was spent in Banking and Finance, however at the age of 46 I was given the opportunity to move to Spain. Having been through a difficult divorce I grabbed the opportunity and said goodbye to UK. I then in time met a wonderful man and we married. His job gives us the opportunity to live in some fantastic and fascinating locations around the world. Cayman Islands, Middle East plus many more….and Currently Brunei where he is employed by the Sultan and Royal family…..It was when I first moved to Spain that I started my journey as an Author. Firstly I had to overcome my phobia and make myself get on an aeroplane…I suffered in silence since the age of eight with Emetophobia….The fear of me or others being sick.I had avoided flying for over 30 years..anyway I was driven to put all my thoughts down on paper and self published a book titled. Living with Emetophobia..my story. It was very cathartic and although not written as a cure for fellow suffers, it was more for non phobics to understand how our minds work. ..Once. I had finished I missed the writing and so started on a trilogy of novels. Two of which have been published…. Love is More Than Just a Pearl Necklace …followed by Marriage is More Than Just a Wedding Band. The main character is a young girl named Chloe Her introduction to life in the 1970’s .Written with humour and compassion, she discovers sex, sadness and soul searching …The final novel is almost complete and by now the children are grown and she ends up running a Caravan park in France. Her clients are all mainly English but each with a story to tell….Laugh out loud , it’s a fun book and a joy to write.
