I'd ask for a list of referrals and call them / or email them and ask their experience.

How about this? You go write some articles on editing the shows. Which NLE is used? Do you just edit or do you edit, clean up audio, do color correction, all in? Process for editing each show? Revisions based on notes from ____ and ____ ? Then post in popular platforms that are read by industry people. Kick the PR firm to the curb. $3,000? You pay them, their efforts don't move the needle for you. You're still there and they got paid. Pass.

Ask yourself... do you NEED "PR"? and aimed at what demographic or group, and for what purpose? Seems to me editors get most of their work from industry referrals, once in a while possibly an agent.
