Kai Tidd

Kai Tidd is an 19 year old aspiring filmmaker from Australia, located in Melbourne. Since he was a kid, Kai loved everything about film. He knew from a young age his future was in the film industry. The domino finally ticked over that his passion was rooted in directing and writing. Having ADHD and Dyslexia the education system never really suited Kai, after 4 highschools he left and jumped straight into a cert 4 in screen and media at Swinburne to start his filmmaking journey. He continued into a diploma, where he directed his first short film Calling Out. While going through the creative process of making his first short Kai discovered and learnt heaps from a creative, technical and personal standpoint. Kai is continuing his journey as a filmmaker by being a crewmember on upcoming projects while building up his skills and portfolio. Kai is going to continue making short films, improving and learning as he goes. His goal is to work his way up until he feels he can properly handle directing a future film.
