Hey! I’m Thomas – a composer, producer, and lifelong musician based on Vancouver Island, Canada.
I’ve spent over 20 years on stage, behind the keys, and in the studio – working across a wide range of genres with diverse musicians and bands. That range of experience has made me very versatile and deeply attuned to the emotional language of music – how it connects people, shifts energy, and supports the moment.
In recent years, I’ve also worked behind the camera and in Final Cut Pro, creating cinematic ads from start to finish. Being part of both the filming and editing process has given me a deeper understanding of what truly goes into visual storytelling. Through this creative work, I’ve honed my instincts in strategic music placement, mixing, and sound editing to support the story both visually and emotionally. These skills now play an important role as I step more fully into the world of composing for film, TV, and games.
The one thing I’ve valued most throughout my creative journey is collaboration. There’s something powerful about being in the creative process with others – navigating it together and building something none of us could’ve made alone. That’s the part I love most.
A few fun facts about me:
I was born in Germany and moved to Canada when I was three.
I speak fluent German (thanks to my parents for always keeping the language alive at home!).
I earned my private pilot’s license before I could drive and even worked as a flight instructor.
I gave up flying to pursue music full time and never looked back.
I would love to connect to this awesome community – Please feel free to say hi and let me know what you’re working on!
Cheers and thanks for reading!
