I was born with a passion for movies and music. All through school I was in drama and choirs. I put together neighborhood plays and variety shows, even being able to charge at one point. High school was of course filled with leading roles in plays, solos in choir, and assist in directing with children’s theatre projects. I went to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana . Two words, Steel Magnolias.I did not graduate, but studied Mass Communications and Journalism.
Adult life has me in the community theater, Desoto Acting Company. After holding leads in productions, I loved directing better. My efforts proved to be the highest grossing plays and most attended. I wrote a children’s book, BooBoo You Be You. Haven’t heard of it? Lol it wasn’t published. I was told by Albatross Publishing it needed to sparkle, other than that , it was good . Having kids took my time so , no sparkle.
Present day I have written a one act play and in the 7th year of presenting it. It is a historical piece about nurses in the Civil War. I am in the process of writing a manuscript for the small screen. I am thankful to be here to learn from like minded folks as you. Forgive me if this is too long, I’m southern lol.
Cheers to success
