Kevin Holladay studied playwriting at Indiana University from 1983-1988, and went on to write and produce several original works at the Bloomington Playwrights' Project Black Box Theatre, where he also served as Production Coordinator and Board Member for 5 years. From there, Holladay went on to work for several circuses as a clown and/or Artistic Director (including standing on stage at the 1996 Olympic Torch Lighting Ceremony as a clown for Circus America), and to teach circus arts with the National Circus Project in New York. He also spent more than a decade performing as an award-winning children's storyteller and recording artist, receiving National Parenting Publications Honors, a Parents' Choice Recommended Award, and 4 Children's Music Web Awards ().
Kevin currently serves as the Artistic Director of his own theatre company, Schedule C Productions (www.schedulec.org), and tours the Midwest with offbeat, original programming. His last play, The King & I: a Hunk of Burnin' Love, earned a 4.5 out of 5 star Nuvo Magazine review at the 2013 Indyfringe Theatre Festival, sold out at the 2013 Chicago Fringe, and earned a Critic's Pick at the 2014 Cincy Fringe, as well as being added to the local ABC affiate's (WCPO) "Must See" list.
The members of Schedule C are currently developing Kevin's newest play, VELOUR, for release in the spring of 2015.
