FRINGED

LOGLINE: Sean gets and then loses a job as a lawyer on the same day, so decides to follow his passion: he wants to be a writer. A random poster asking for new plays in a local pub inspires him to get involved in the Manchester fringe theatre scene. He is soon pulled into a mad world of psychotic actors and deranged directors. He makes a few good friends along the way and tries pursuing the lovely but unobtainable Lucy, who runs the arts pub. With the surprising success of his first play, and the help of a few well-seasoned actors, the dream of the Edinburgh fringe festival might be on the cards. But Sean will need to keep everyone happy and navigate the unfathomable politics of the fringe scene to keep this dream alive.
