After a career as a still photographer and the “Australian Professional Photographer of the year” award in 1984.
A short stint as a Cinematographer (Director of Photography) proved to me that, it needed more than just good pictures to make a good film.
I completed a Master Directors Workshop, in Maine U.S.A. Acting for Directors, workshops in Australia, Concentrated study of screen writing and film structure,
I directed hundreds of TV commercials in Australia and Indonesia.
Directed twenty-five corporate films, in both Australia and Indonesia.
Directed, shot and edited five 10-minute Indonesian language videos for Schools and Universities.
I wrote two screenplays, one of which was scheduled for production in 2003 but was dropped like a hot cake after it was read by an Indonesian General for his opinion on the torture methods in the script.
Now retired in Jakarta and re-writing both scripts. Oh yes and facing the challenge of survival on the Australian Pension.
