My buddies and I have been brainstorming a very cool Documentary idea. The only problem is, we have no Idea how to get funding and get equipment. The story is about our hometown, a nice middle-upper class town with parents working all day long as the "rich and spoiled" kids go to school and do copious amounts of drugs. It reminds me of the movie "Traffic" a little bit, but that is exactly what has happened. We want to interview people from our town to see exactly why and how this mini epidemic has come to be. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

A year ago while still in school, there is this competition called "Campus MovieFest" where a they go to almost all the big name schools all across the US and Europe. The goal: make a 5 minute film in 1 week, that includes filming and editing and scripting and casting etc. My friend and I made this film that I directed and we ended up winning Best Picture at our school. Obviously there are some mistakes here and there with the editing since we were up for almost 26 hours to get it looking how we wanted to before submission.
