Have you looked at the project creation options on here Crystal? There's lots of serious actors on here looking for work. Have you tries clicking on the magnifying glass by the search box a the top of the page? This will allow you to search for actors in a specific area :)

I put together some really cool scenes because the cameramen had no idea how to do anything other than use Sony Vegas to edit and how to hold a camera. That being said a lot of prople still liked the videos and i always directed the scenes and even got myself in other rappers videos to give them a concept. I am from Houston but willing to go to Portland or anywhere in the US right now to pursue my goal of becoming great at this so if you are interested in a try out from somebody who can improvise let me know and I will jump on a plane to Portland asap! The whole United States is a local zone as far as im concerned with the travelling options we have and I speak perfect English. I dont even know Spanish. Just throwing that out there because I am very hungry to jump into acting and I am a very loyal and respectful person. Either way good luck!
