Originally from the Port Richmond neighborhood of Staten Island, New York Covan comes from a musical background. He is the cousin of the legendary R & B group The Force Md’s and their soulful sounds can be heard in their feature with Covan on "Better Person."
Covan was formerly known as “Recording Artist Phantom" and "Phantom The Rapper." Covan had an epiphany and decided it was time for the "Rebirth" of Covan Magee and goodbye to Recording Artist Phantom. Covan is now focusing on getting serious messages to the fans in these turbulent times.
I have been in the entertainment industry since 2005, originally from Staten Island, NY and cousin to The Force Mds. I love music, more importantly I love what music brings to the listener. Connecting to my listeners on an emotional, intellectual and at times on a spiritual level brings me great pleasure.
