A ceramic sculptor for forty years, Michael turned his focus toward a life long love of writing in 2011, when he brought forth 30 years of research and wrote "Ringling, The Last Laugh." Michael is the great-grandson of Charles Ringling, one of the five original Ringling Brothers.
He has also co-authored an award winning children's book and written numerous features for magazines. In 2013 he turned his attention to screenwriting. Current projects in development include "Ringling," "The Other Little Miss 1565," and "Ink." Michael recently appeared numerous times on American Experience "The Circus," as a screenwriter and family historian.
INK is currently in development and production is projected for Summer Solstice 2019.
I am passionate about writing, and although starting screenwriting 'late' in life, I write all the time.
Unique traits: Michael is a visionary and as Ringling descendant he carries "just do it" attributes into all his projects.
