Janice hails from Woodstock, Ontario, Canada; an award winning dancer, choreographer, actor, model, musician, songwriter and educator. She has traveled extensively around the world dancing, singing and acting in professional casts, teaching workshops, as well as performing for various entertainment companies. She recently completed 2 years as a Dance Major at the Boston Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Van Dyk has also recently received an Artium Baccalaureus degree in Theatre & Dance at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL; aside from working with professors within the music department. Ever since the age of three, Janice has always wanted to perform on Broadway. With great attitude, confidence, and the support from her family and friends, Janice has continued to shine herself up to the top; no matter what it takes.
She has a numerous amount of stage credits such as, Mamma Mia, Grease, Chicago, and K-W Hope Benefits. In addition, Janice has appeared in live industrials including, The Hamburg Festival in Germany (Germany), M&T Corporate Retail Event Gala (NY), and Operngala am Simsee (Austria). Some credits she has achieved, such as, MusicTheatre of Bavaria Scholarship, Be Discovered's Summer in LA, NYC's “Beginners” Program Scholarship, Triple Crown Award Winner from the North American Dance Championships, 1st Runner Up Miss Dance of Western New York, and Rising Star Gold Award Winner Regional Competition. She has also represented Canada, holding with more than 20 medals from the World Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Showdance, and Tap Dance Championships.
