About me..
I have almost 6 years designing costumes, mainly for features, but commercials, music videos, shorts, theater, the Opera...you name it. I enjoy the fast-pace on set and work well under pressure and love the creative collaboration that makes the final product so beautiful. Last year, I designed two indie features, with names such as Camilla Belle, Chad Michael Murray, Skylar Austin among others.
I love being the designer for the obvious creative rewards and inspiration, but also am happy to assist when asked by anyone I can learn from, and also have Wardrobe Supervisor experience so completely comfortable watching the department and budget. I graduated with a degree in Fashion Design and Illustration and worked in the fashion industry for three years. That gave me valuable knowledge of construction, aesthetic, fabrics and history of costume and the ability to sew costumes from scratch, alter, distress, and invent lets create something.
I work in Los Angeles and New York mainly, but will travel for work. I also have experience as Coordinator, and Prodction Design, although wardrobe is the main focus.
