About Ansley

Ansley Gordon is an award-winning screenwriter, actress, and producer based in Los Angeles. In less than three years, she has sold/optioned 20+ projects and nearly all have been produced. Most recently, Ansley's holiday romcom, A Christmas Frequency, that starred herself and Denise Richards, sold to a major streamer and is set for a holiday 2023 release. She also executive produced the project. Ansley will next be seen in Sony/PureFlix's The Abby Brooks Mysteries as Abby Brooks - another project she both wrote and executive produced. Ansley's writing work has been produced for platforms such as Hulu, Paramount+, Sony, Hallmark, Lifetime, GAC, UpTV, The BBC, CTV, and more. Previously, Ansley has starred in almost a dozen MOWs and has worked on critically-acclaimed TV series such as Better Things (FX) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW), as well as Survivor's Remorse (STARZ) and was series regular on Amazon's Liberty. With a keen eye for the human experience, Ansley writes with a layered subtext that focuses on truth and grounded emotion through the lens of entertaining situations.
