A colleague of mine and I have decided to pursue a new idea for a web series about social entrepreneurship. It would highlight companies that make contributing to society (i.e. change the world) their primary or close secondary goal. We want to put an emphasis on FOR PROFIT companies though we will likely also highlight non-profits. We want to show inspiring stories that have resulted from these companies' efforts and hopefully inspire more companies to make social value a greater part of their business model. So I have to questions for you: 1. I need your feedback. Is this something that sounds remotely interesting to you? Would you be willing to watch a story/show like this for 5 mins? 10 mins? 20 mins? 2. Any ideas for companies you would like to see highlighted? or any stories you know of that have come out of companies like these (either for profit or non-profit)?
