Danny Ye

Hi my name is Danny Ye. In college, my professor asked me: "why do you wanted to go into theatre?" To which I replied, Well, Bruce Lee is dead, Jackie Chan and Jet Li are getting old, someone is going to have to take over.

Being an Asian American actor is easy... said no one ever. Growing up, it was rare for me to see my "own" on TV and when I did they were usually female actors, minor roles, or comical. Perhaps it is because of how reserved and unspoken our culture is that we aren't cast in lead roles or maybe it is something else, but hopefully that changes someday. Hopefully I can do something about it.
