About Shawn
Shawn M. Smith is a producer and screenwriter originally from Ballston Spa, New York. He was involved in several theatrical productions in high school, lighting a fire under him creatively at a time when his primary passion was athletics.
After completion of his degree at Teikyo Post University in 2001, Smith returned to New York's Capital Region where he met writing partner and co-producer Andrew T. Pitkin. The two have collaborated on several projects in the past, including "Claustrophobic" and "Pseudo Show," as well as the soon to be released web series "King of Fitness."
In 2004, Smith moved to New York City to pursue a career in writing, focusing primarily on his work at the Inside Pulse network, running both the now-defunct and , a Fox Sports affiliate site.
Smith currently lives in Baltimore, MD with his wife, son and French bulldog, Savanah.
