About Mark

Mark Rossella began his career as an actor and stand up comic in Chicago. To enhance his on-camera acting skills, Mark enrolled at Columbia College with a concentration in the film program. It was at Columbia that his passion of the craft of filmmaking bloomed. Fragments is the title of his award winning student film. A prodigious writer, Mark has over 30 completed screenplays, some have obtained semi-finalist status and quarterfinalist status in international screenwriting competitions, including the prestigious Nicholl Fellowships and the Disney Screenwriting Fellowships. His dark comedy/horror script, “ Junior & Roy”, was optioned by veteran producer Ray Wagner. Under the banner of noirblues productions, Mark has written, directed & produced film shorts, music videos and commercials. Mark also wrote/directed and produced an eight week run of a theater production of Suicide, The Musical Comedy. Currently, Mark is promoting and developing The Last Anniversary, his first feature length film production.
