I am a screenwriter aspiring to break in. B.A. in Radio-TV-Film. Interned at Lorimar Television. Numerous UCLA Extension and private courses. I work with the amazing Pilar Alessandra! I started writing in college, but life took a turn and I became a 911 Dispatcher. I married a cop (I get to tell him where to go). Now, I am full steam ahead into writing for television. I am grateful that my half-hour comedy about 911 Dispatchers just made FINALIST in the SCRIPTAPALOOZA TV pilot category (one-hours & half-hours combined)! It's called "9-1-1er's" and has a cynical dark side -- one you get for working that job for as long as I have. Gallows humor is a coping mechanism. 9-1-1er's was a FINALIST last year with the BROAD HUMOR writing contest. It placed as a Second Rounder at Austin Film Festival 2014 as well as won 2nd Prize (missing 1st by half a point--why did he tell me that, ugh?) in Larry Brody's TV Writer's People's Pilot Contest. Now working on a one-hour drama pilot. --
Always learning. Always writing. Happy Writing to all:)
