CALL FOR PAPERS
“Traveler’s, the Ambassadors of Peace” Conference
2nd Edition of International Festival of Ibn Battuta
THEME OF THE CONFERENCE
Fear of the unknown has become the root cause of the many international conflicts our world is currently experiencing. This fear creates a lack of respect and tolerance to our unique differences.
Traveling provides an opportunity to create peace. As one of the history’s greatest world traveler, Ibn Battuta has shared the many cultures he has discovered, enlightening us with history, geography and inspirational stories.
Like him, today’s globetrotters can work toward strengthening the wonders of our cultural diversities and embracing our differences. Thus the theme for this year’s second edition of International Festival of Ibn Battuta is entitled, “Travelers, the Ambassadors of Peace.”
The event is an initiative of the civil society, mostly of individuals coming from the areas of arts and culture, travel and world literature. Conferences will be held from 9-12 of November 2017, where we will feature selected papers covering the theme of the conference
