Degree in music; former NYC actor/singer with a Broadway credit; served in the U.S. Army; Category winner in American Song Festival; Certified FAA Flight Instructor; screenwriter who has won 5 competitions since 2006 (4 in 2011) and whose scripts have placed in the top 3-10 of dozens of other competitions; 4 of his latest songs have placed in the top 5-10 in 4 separate categories since 2011 in the ISC competition, USA songwriting competition, and Song-of-the-Year competition; married with twin daughters; retired from Dade County (FL) Fire Rescue Dept. with 26 years of service, 21 years of which were as a Paramedic-Lieutenant; working hard to self-publish a rather hefty historical novel in 3 parts this year (2018) under the name "The Homeland," with individual titles (ex: "The Homeland, Book One: Warsaw." It is a story based on real events about a small group of Jewish teenagers in Warsaw at the end of WW One (1918) who see the murderous pogroms against fellow Jews and decide that they would rather die trying to reach Palestine than live under such conditions any longer.
