Austeja Znaidauskaite

Austeja is a Costume Designer and Art Director for Film and Theatre graduated from BA (hons) Performance Design and Practice at UAL, Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London, UK.

From her early childhood she was immersed by arts and crafts and now her passion for creation ranges over the costume design and construction, visual translation of the character and space.

Since her graduation, Austeja has been involved in various productions from short films to contemporary theatre and dance performances and has accomplished a great deal in producing unique concepts and versatile ideas, supervising the costume and art departments.

Austeja finds her inspiration in various corners embracing fairytales and dream stories as well as little odd things and profoundness of everyday life. Illustration and colours is another passion of hers which she usually incorporates within her design.
