I am collecting personal opinions from both ordinary moviegoers and film pros, with the answer to one single question: “How important is a film award or an Oscar nomination today: 1) in a career - if it is a personal award, or 2) for the success of a film among the audience - if it is a collective award for the film as a whole or its departments.

Simple words and two or three sentences are enough.

Each opinion will be published in the OPINIONS chapter in my two-volume book “With "Oscar" and Nearby,” which is being prepared for publication. If anonymity is more suitable for you than publicity, you can send your opinion and indicate that it should be published anonymously. Those who wish to agree with the publication of their name as a signature under the quote can send a link to their professional website. If you are an actor, director, cinematographer, artist, designer, and so on - it's a kind of free-of-charge ad for you. The book will be available on Amazon Kindle. The hidden thing is essential - the Russian version of 2 volumes will be released first because this is my first language out of four that I speak. The English version will be released later after both volumes are published. But don't be afraid of the Russian language, and simply act. This is a sensational book of 1,000 pages, a lot of information was obtained for it from authoritative American sources, such as the Curtis Institute, the Stanford Library, the National Historical Archives, and so on. Following Rich "RB" Botto's appeal I suddenly recognized that there's only 12 hours left. As he wrote I have plenty of time to break bread, in the other words - to pop on over and tell Stage 32's community what I do in general and what I'm doing here. LOL. Let me briefly share my interests, beef up my bio, and getting to know the community. If certainly you all truly wanna know more about me. :)

In general I'm a Producer / Developer / Writer / Director / Editor (FCPX/DaVinciResolve) / Streaming Media Specialist. And I'm an award winning & produced & published screenwriter/writer (ISA Member), as well as an award winning director. Currently, as a co-producer I'm involved into a few low budget film projects in the US, and as a producer/director/screenwriter - into a few film/animation projects outside the US. It's not a promotion, just my contribution to Stage 32 community: If you are from NY or CA and have a documentary to edit I'll be glad to help in editing your footage free of charge, some conditions applied.
