Robert Krantz is a Greek-American (Krantz was shortened from Karountzos by his parents after World War II). He has acted in numerous movies and television shows, along with having written and sold screenplays to major motion picture studios including Sony, Fox, and Columbia Pictures. He graduated from the University of Southern California’s Film and Television program, and also owns his own production and distribution company, Ellinas Multimedia which is the largest producer and distributor of Greek multimedia product in the United States.
Robert also wrote the novel, Falling in Love with Sophia, which became an Amazon and Barnes and Noble best seller and has subsequently written two other bestselling books: Guide to the Divine Liturgy and Guide to Holy Week. He was also the writer, producer and star of the award winning movie Do You Wanna Dance?
He is the writer, producer, co-director and star of his latest movie, Christmas with the Karountzoses (http://bit.ly/Karountzoses) which was awarded the prestigious Dove Family Seal of Approval.
He lives in, California, with his wife of 21 years, Tricia, and their triplet boys, Chris, Nick and George, who are now in their sophomore year in High School.
