About Alexandra

Actress, Creator, Rom-Com Enthusiast …
Alexandra Kirr is a Los Angeles based storyteller and director of development for television and film. If asked, “What would your one goal in entertainment be?” She would say, “Create work that moves you. It can be to laughter, to tears, or both, but I want you to feel moved.” Alexandra started in the entertainment industry as a classical ballerina with the Nevada Ballet Theatre. After attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she received her BA in stage and screen acting, she transitioned from dancing Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet to reciting Helena’s diatribes in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her first singing debut took her to Adelaide, Australia where she starred in the musical, Sin City ’67, based on the television hit, Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles to work primarily in film and television. While continuing her acting education in LA, Alexandra wrote and produced various short films including, Awful Pretty, which won the Best Female Filmmaker award at IndieFest. It went on to take six other first place awards in various film festivals around the world. Inspired by her own life, Alexandra later created and starred in the Youtube series, Confessions of A Gamer’s Girlfriend. Other acting credits include: Top Gun: Maverick, All-Star Weekend, The Zach Galifianakis Effect (a short in promotion of his movie Masterminds) and Funny or Die’s Awkward People. Currently, she works on the development side of the industry, and has provided her services for companies such as Wind Dancer Films, Silver Creek Falls Entertainment, Inc., Melrose Hill Entertainment, Tam O’Shanter Productions, Inc., Radiant Films, and Jet Propulsion, LLC. A proud Greek woman, Alexandra studies and practices the language daily. She still takes ballet classes weekly, and in the last few years, made a professional hobby of boxing. A dramedy darling with biting wit, Alexandra is inspired by the strong, intellectual women who have paved the way for women like her in this industry and will continue to create and be a part of female forward storytelling.
