About Gene

Hey, everyone, My name's Gene. I'm a new member here. I am a naturally creative and gifted guitarist, who's been in the entertainment business on one level or another all my life as a musician, songwriter, singer, movies, etc. My father was a blues guitar player from the likes of Bo Diddly and Lightnin Hopkins. I'm a musician who got into movies on a whim during a slow period as a writer working on projects with Tina Turner, Tevin Campbell, Barry White, and others. I've worked for several Hollywood production companies, including The USA Network, Stu Segal, Sam Raimi director Spiderman, Hercules, and others. I've been spending recent years acquiring a business and digital marketing degree which helps me in my entertainment exploits and allows me to help others. So, I've had some time on stage and in front of the camera and I certainly do love the entertainment business. I am a writer too, I've written for magazines, websites, restaurant reviews, and Arts reviews in San Diego for Examiner, CBS, and Reuters. I write the website "Personal Development For The Gifted" () which includes gifted entertainers like yourselves, and people from all other forms of the arts working there with me.
