Aaron Sherrill

My name is Aaron Sherrill and I recently graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Master’s of Arts Degree (MA). Both my BA and MA degrees are in Cinema & Television Arts. I had the opportunity to attend several Television tapings, which captured my attention and exposed me to the wonderful atmosphere on a studio lot. As a result, I am extremely interested in pursuing a career in television production.

During my time at CSUN, I worked as an office assistant, which afforded me the opportunity to develop many skill sets including managing budgets, ordering supplies, creating spreadsheets, working in Microsoft Office, answering phones, customer service, hiring and training other students, supervising several students, and working with other departments to complete assignments/projects.

In school I also had the opportunity to work on many video projects for class, work, church, and by referral. Many of them volunteer experience and some paid. In these projects I did a lot of editing using Final Cut Pro. I’ve also directed and filmed many of these projects too. I’ve learned a lot through school and also working hands on with these projects and I want the chance to learn more and gain more professionalism.

I am a highly energetic, self-starting, motivated individual. I work successfully on my own as well as with others. I am a fast and eager learner and feel that I could contribute to a team and be a valuable asset.
