Barbie Perkins-Cooper

Barbie Perkins-Cooper received recognition in national competitions including the Chesterfield Film Company Writers’ Film Project, Fade-In Magazine competition, and recently the Blue Cat Screenplay competition. Her contributions as a professional photojournalist are quite diversified, including travel, trade, and regional publications along with a non-fiction memoir, Condition of Limbo. Recent writing credits include Buick B Magazine, the Travel Channel, Texas Co-op Power, Southern Hospitality, Reunions, and Hair and Beauty magazines, Kentucky Monthly, Diabetes Health, Convention South, and she is the author of Career Diary of a Photographer.
