For almost 30 years Maria Muir, producer and owner of The Production Department, has been involved in the film, television, print, trade show and special event industries. Her natural ability to produce large and small projects, and often several projects simultaneously, has gained Muir a solid professional reputation. Most recent assignments include several years of Sundance Channel’s daily festival show, multiple television commercials including Bridgestone, Sara Lee, Jaguar, Home Depot and Cedar Point as well as educational programs for Prentice Hall, live broadcasts for the VA Medical Center and still photo shoots for Elle magazine. Producing such events has given Muir a well-rounded wealth of experience.
