Tied and gagged in a room-sized time machine, a woman must survive a madman inventor who's willing to torture, murder, and manipulate time to get revenge on her for ruining his life.
I think the main character is the woman, but the inventor is the one who has the goal in the logline, so it seems like he might be the main character. If the woman is the main character. I suggest adding her goal (escape? fight for survival?) and the stakes.
I also suggest changing "woman" to "_______ (the main flaw that she has to overcome or an adjective that describes her personality) woman." And maybe even change "woman" to her position/job/career.
Maurice Vaughan I would say it's a 2-hander, but I'm not sure how accurate that is when there end up being multple versions of the woman? lol The guy is an inventor who wants revenge on her for not giving him the grant he was going after to workon his time travel invention, forcing him to give up everything (house, wife/kid, life) to pursue it alone - and now he's using the machine to kidnap the woman (and other versions of her along the timeline) and torture and/or kill her/them.
It's essentially a single-location torture porn (like SAW or HOSTEL) with a sci-fi twist.
It sounds like the woman in the logline is the main character.
Maybe something like: After waking up trapped in a room-sized time machine, a selfish lawyer fights to survive against the vengeful inventor who uses the machine to kidnap multiple versions of her and torture them to death.
Or this: A selfish lawyer tries to escape a room-sized time machine invented by a vengeful madman who uses it to kidnap multiple versions of her and torture them to death.

2) how's: Finding herself tied and gagged in a room-sized time machine, a woman must survive a madman inventor who's willing to torture, murder, and manipulate time to get revenge on her for ruining his life.

I like that logline. I'm not sure about "Finding herself tied and gagged in a room-sized time machine" though. Maybe "Trapped in a room-sized time machine." Unless "tied and gagged" are important to the story.

A very interesting, creative story: "Held captive in a time machine, a woman fights to survive and escape a vengeful madman who tortures and kills her through several time loops".

She might not be a selfish lawyer though.

A madman inventor forges a Time Machine, inside is a person unconscious.
let's not focus too much implication because it might all change anyways

Vincent Turner 1) Your version 100% makes the inventor the lead, and seems to just have a random unconcious person inside his machine. lol
2) Not sure I understand your point of "let's not focus too much on implication"?

Maurice Vaughan I mean, other than when she briefly escapes, she spends the whole movie tied up.
Ok, how about starting the logline with "Tied and gagged in a room-sized time machine," Travis Seppala?
