A young aspiring actor at a night club meets a casting director that offers him the chance to audition for a part. However, all is not as it seems in Hollywood and the actor ends up auditioning for murder.

A rebellious teen threatened with expulsion from school is offered an alternative: an experimental program in which she would counsel a troubled child. Initially rebelling from the concept, she finds that her involvement lets her confront her own angers and eventually her family, including a loving Grandmother.
