Steve Murray

Since 1985, Steve has operated a successful commercial photography business serving clients throughout the US. His work has won many advertising awards, including The One Show, Addy's, CA Annual, British Advertising, Print Magazine and Pica Awards. He likes to travel and will go anywhere and shoot anything. Steve prides himself on finding first-class locations, and when he can’t scout a location personally, he relies on trusted location scouts who have worked with him for over ten years. Steve has traveled to China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Morocco, Bali, Java, Hong Kong, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and most of the Caribbean islands.
Steve is known for having a professional & organized crew, but he also likes to have fun while shooting and runs an easygoing set. He usually works with the same crew in the primary positions. By utilizing these “regular’s”, Steve and his crew become a “well-oiled machine,” with everyone knowing their job and getting things done fast (which is especially important when the light is fading.) Clients regularly comment on how smooth Steve’s shoots are and how easy he is to work with. He loves to work with models/actors but he also enjoys filming real people.
Beginning in 1993, Steve expanded into motion as a Director / Cameraman. He has directed spots for Delaware Tourism (3), Weyerhaeuser Paper, Asheville Tourism (8), The Country Club at Mirasol (3), Uwharrie Pointe Golf Community (3), The Grove Park Inn (2), Kentucky Tourism (2), The Homestead Resort, Bonita Bay Properties (7), Green Mountain Energy (2), and Our Lucaya Resort (3).
