A truly bad ass makeup test for After the Infection (2014), which I hated to take off. Much thanks to the exceedingly talented Scott Conner of Evil Grin FX! There's nothing quite as liberating as getting hit by a moving vehicle some 10 times in a day, and being able to walk away without a scratch! Credit to stunt driver Alexander Sloan McBryde, and to director and cinematographer Francisco Escobar. On set in New York City. That's me, singing the script in my massive amounts of down time that day.
Between takes, the crew goaded me on into dancing to the saxophonist playing just off camera. It was pretty epic.
I'm actually playing opposite myself here as my character's arch enemy.
A nice head shot while on set in New York City.
A fun photo at the end of the shoot. Zombie make-up is pretty light, but I got to do some fun stunts for this web series.
All four squibbs detonated successfully, spattering blood across my face and soaking my clothes. It was awesome.
That first charge was a doozy!
We only had one take to get this right.
Final touches on make up: gross teeth. :D
"Don't move!" the D.P. shouted. I didn't.
One of my favorite photos from the shoot. Very ominous.
You're welcome. ;)
Riot on the city streets (NYC, Merc. #406)
Villainous entourage (Pittsburgh)
Waiting in line between takes.... (Pittsburgh, Merc. #26)
Fighting on the stairs (Pittsburgh). This shot actually made it into a news article.
