About Ben

Ben Fiore is a multiple award-winning, optioned and produced, New York-based screenwriter. Several of his short and feature-length screenplays have garnered major wins and high placement awards in mainstream screenwriting contests and film festivals.

He is a co-writer of the action/thriller film, “Pursuit”, starring John Cusack and Emile Hirsch. The film was released by Lionsgate and is available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Ben is also the co-creator and head writer of "The Mamaluke", a comedy TV series project, starring Johnny 'Roastbeef' Williams (of “Goodfellas"). In early 2022, Ben optioned his boxing-themed drama screenplay, “Moment of Glory”, with the Keller Entertainment Group of Los Angeles.

In the summer of 2022, Ben optioned his original, horror/thriller anthology feature screenplay, “THE LAST GRAVE: A Collection of Haunting Tales”, to the Robb Squad Film Company in Los Angeles. The company is headed by respected Hollywood agent, Sherry Robb.

A retired NYC Police Officer, he served in both the NYC Transit Police (patrolling New York's subways) and the NYPD. Ben is a 9/11 'First Responder' and participated in the rescue and recovery mission during and after the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Ben resides in New York with his wife, Marci, a Social Media Specialist, and his two sons, Stephen, a Senior Digital Designer with Marvel Entertainment, and Christopher, a Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute trained actor.
