Nigel Osner

I am a performer, actor, writer and lyricist. It is only in the last ten years I have worked as an actor. I have appeared in numerous short films and in two feature films, including ‘The Drummond Will’, for which I received a best supporting actor nomination. I have recently started to work as a stage actor. I have also acted in several plays.

I love cabaret and have been involved with this since the 90's. I perform my own lyrics and monologues in cabaret, appearing most recently at the Crazy Coqs and the Pheasantry in London. This is character based and the characters include a desperate actor, a man who hates being labelled, a vampire, an angel and a diva! In August 2016 I took my show 'Angel to vampire' to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Amongst later performances I appeared at the Buxton Fringe in 2017, where I was nominated for excellence in new writing. In 2018 I have been performing my new show 'Too young to stay in, too old to go out!'

I wrote a children’s book called ‘Magic in Ravenswood’ (Heinemann). This I helped adapt into a family musical called ‘Goblins Don’t Scare Us, which has been performed both in London and in Delaware, USA. I have also published a fantasy novel ‘’, available on Amazon and other sites both as a book and an e-book.
