Alessandro Giordani

I am an editor and a post-production expert skilled in digital workflows. My experience also includes working in the direction department for film production, indeed I have worked as a first assistant for feature films and shorts. I have also directed commercials, shorts and video clips. My interest for direction is particularly linked (but also independent) to my profession as an editor.
I have worked both as freelance and as an employee in post-production and production companies in Rome. My most important and challenging experience has been with Digital Room. I founded Digital Room S.r.l. in 2006 where I have worked in post-production and production. At Digital Room I had the possibility to expand my experience in different fields such as pre-production, production, post-production managing and marketing, widening the overall view over the production process of audiovisual formats.
I love cinema and I have written a few screenplays, but I also have a lot of interests unrelated with my profession. I love music, I compose and play the guitar. In my free time I like taking photos, reading non-fictional books, esoteric and scientific topics, geek world, sports, boxing, having long trips on my motorbike, smoking shishà and playing progressive rock records from the Seventies.
