About Trudee

Originally from Queens, New York, Trudee Lunden began singing, songwriting and learning guitar at 10 years old. Today she wears various hats including songwriter, lyricist, vocalist, acoustic guitarist, music publisher, and executive producer. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music with minors in English and Business from the University of Redlands in California, Trudee has collaborated with many artists, musicians, composers, producers and has been an active member of numerous organizations including the National Academy of Songwriters, Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase, Nashville Songwriters International Association, Songsalive, Songwriters Vantage, SongNet, Los Angeles Songwriters Co-op, SongTown USA, Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society, Second Story Blues Alliance and Dramatists Guild of America.

Her diverse catalog has been featured in TV/Film and worldwide digital releases as well as co-written and/or recorded with notable performers such as John Jorgenson (U.S. Ambassador of Gypsy Jazz and world-class guitarist for Elton John among others), Sunny Hilden (songwriter for Ray Charles, Sting, David Archuleta, Patti LaBelle, etc.), Josie Aiello (Quincy Jones’ Qwest artist), Teresa James (Blues/L.A. session singer), Briana Nadeau (soulful L.A. session singer), Jody Whitesides (award-winning Just Plain Folks artist), Brian Brazil (Blues Hall of Fame Harmonica Master) plus numerous others. She’s worked in various recording studios with many producers including Edward Tree (U.S. guitarist for Spencer Davis) and Gary Mallaber (original drummer for Steve Miller Band).

Trudee and her co-writers have received accolades from Billboard Magazine for "I Knew There Was A Song" and from Travel Weekly Magazine for "Caribbean Cruise". Her co-written composition "Good Friends" was featured in the documentary Unconditional Love: The AIDS Heartline Story and in a Pets-For-Vets story video. She co-wrote the Revitalize-U radio theme with composer David G. Steele. Concept song "Let's Get Wired" was featured in the 2012 Sundance film trailer for Goats with X-Files' David Duchovny. Her two songs "Movin’ Up the Mountain" and "Let the Good Life" were licensed on Lifetime TV episodes of Dance Moms with multiple uploads on YouTube now hitting over a million views. She penned lyrics for "Christmas Love is Calling" featured in the 2017 film with Ed Asner, Santa Stole Our Dog: A Merry Doggone Christmas!
