About Jose

I have a B.F.A. in animation and have worked on a number of student films, independent projects and commercials as still photographer, production assistant, actor and precision driver. While pursuing my degree in animation, I experimented with many different genres of art and story telling. This lead to becoming involved in film projects and taking up photography.
I began shooting production stills/behind the scenes photos when I lived in Los Angeles. I shoot with an 18MP Canon DSLR and have a sound blimp to quite my camera when sound is being recorded.
My precision driving background began when I received my driver's license at age 16. I began racing in autocrosses and track events before taking up automotive drifting. I earned a pro-license in drifting when I was 20 and have since driven in drifting demonstrations aired on The Speed Channel, served as precision driver for the Green Pictures film "The Body" and was invited to try out for Disney's "Lights, Motors, Action!" show.
