.... Psychic fairs are advertised for those who want to attend who are not psychics themselves.... Not for the psychics themselves... Probably why I didn't get it, cause it made no sense. And you are obviously entitled to your opinion, I've debunked psychics myself, but have never been debunked... however, this has been one of my jobs since I was 18... I'm in my 30's now and that is not the reason I am this page. I'm not here to discuss psychics and mediums and clairvoyants... LOL. If you're not here to discuss it, why mention it? Extensive experimentation to replicate psychic results in laboratory conditions have failed to find any precognitive phenomena in humans. Not a single psychic has been able to, under laboratory conditions, prove their abilities. Not one. If they could, they'd claim the $1m prize on offer. Yet no-one has. I still haven't managed to see Suicide Squad but reading between the lines it sounds like a version of an obviously famous comic strip/urban legend fantasy. Im not a fan of such, but recently became glued to the set on the spur of the moment, as the Penguin and Fish did their double act. What do others think of Gotham? Is it particular characters that flip the switch? Or the whole plot/story/legend?

Re my above post....off course i mean the individual actors/actresses portrayal of the characters, not the characters per se. The Penguin and Fish draw me in, as does the would be Cat Woman who is currently a friend of Master Bruce. There have been hundreds of different versions and productions, re writes, changes of scenes & props, etc etc of this urban fantasy, yet Penguin and Batman never captivated me before, as they do in Gotham. Be interesting to know other peoples take?

Doesn't matter much that it's agoraphobia he suffers from, as the net result is still the same - he has to go out to be by her side, and political spouses invetiably have to appear or the media speculates.

I love when actors make great acceptance speeches. work on stage and in film. talk about the film or the play and the importance of the show itself. Writing seems to be the main game as far as the beginning to great work.

Thank You Leonard, that's entirely correct people didn't train themselves seriously in the UK to become circus monkeys caught up in a barrel of stand-in/stunt work...that's crew work. This review was part of a deeper bad experience testing talent professionalism, which is unnecessary. It's the most tyrannical and abuse of producer power and a true inside story from various on-set people. -due to secrecy and professionalism I am not at liberty to go into further detail. The details of "he who must not be named" backsliding after locking people in with contracts and that story being released was mentioned but sure if anytime soon they don't want to wreck their careers but part of the testimony is that them and their families were harassed, told mums the word, and "Who do you think you are" after they learned epic huge scenes already filmed would be cut -that's why the movie was lucid at best; no backstory.

Makes me glad to not have seen it. Think I'll stick with the games.

Ok Christopher you want to know why I said Talent 6, Casting 360 and Star now is worthless is because I posted on there and applied for work. Didn't get chosen and was taken for a lot of money

I also know that it is important to have a good portfolio. If you check my pictures. . you will see that I have many looks. Casting Directors really know our looks and need to visualize it for a film. It is still a job you are applying for. . . If you agent sees you as a mom, wench, nurse, rich or poor. . . it makes a difference. Thrift stores are an awesome place to get some wardrobe for cheap. And get a friend to take some cool shots in a good location. I often sew my own creations!

As for making a demo reel, I use to volunteer for a company who solicited projects that needed vo artists but couldn't pay them. It was great practice for me and I was able to use the clips for my reel. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the organization. Maybe you could find it by Googling.

You could try Voice Acting Alliance and Voice Acting Club. Nothing professional, mostly fandubs and audio plays, but they're still good sites to find VO work.

Christopher Trastoy Is acting your full time profession or do you have a regular day job? Passion is great, but bills still have to be paid unless you live at home with your parents. That's just reality.

JD Hartman I can't believe I am just seeing this now. I do have a job that I work in aside from the arts that helps pay the bills, I do not think it is safe to assume that actors are living at home with their parents.Bills having to be paid is a certain but in this profession, it is wise to take whatever opportunity, that comes your way . Would you turn down an amazing opportunity because it was unpaid?

Never did I say all actors.... Great that you're working while pursuing you real passion. Also great that you were able to find the type of job that gives you the freedom to audition and take off from from work as needed. Not easy to find work like that, I know from experience, having worked on both sides of the lens.

First describe amazing? Does that include things like: I'll use you (next time) when I have a budget; great for your reel; award winning Director or Producer; a passion piece; to be entered in many festivals; deferred pay (no pay, ever), etc.

I've heard all the reasons/excuses, nothing worse than showing up to work on a no-pay gig only to find: rented 3 ton Grip and Lighting package, rented latest and greatest camera package; above the line team staying in Hotels while you drive home each night; etc.
