Writer/Director and accidental award-winning Photographer.
Despite doing a BSc in Physics and Mathematics to make her beloved late-daddy happy, Nusrat was at the right place at the right time to begin her career in television and films as a researcher and writer for factual programs.
With a short attention span, she soon spread her wings to work on two Hong Kong action films before moving to Italy to work for RAI Italia and eventually settling in London as an independent filmmaker.
Nusrat is currently:
1) writing a feature film for an Australian joint-venture film tentatively titled FORE MY INFIDEL which is inspired by her short-documentary about the religious persecution in Indonesia called MOSQUITOES WONT BITE.
2) completing 13 episodes of a historical series for international distribution called JOURNEY
