About Timothy

Prolific screenwriter, associate director of content in the higher education realm and beer-league hockey player, Timothy cut his teeth as a writer’s assistant on the hit FOX TV show “Prison Break” in California. Upon return to his hometown of Chicago, Timothy co-founded his film company GripWrite Productions, and wrote, produced, and directed three award-winning short films now available on Prime.

Contest recognition for his feature screenplays began in 2017-18 with his horror scripts SILENCE THE DEAD and THE INTERCESSOR and carried on through 2021 with his other horror script SOIL (Your Script Produced – Top 20% of 2500 scripts) and his dramedy GOING AWAY PARTY (PAGE International – Top 10% of 8,300 scripts). He also just finished his latest script SILVER, a familial drama that addresses mental health, and Soil was also just honored as a semi-finalist in the Table Read My Screenplay Competition - 2022!
